About Me
I was born in England and made Aliyah to Israel with my family at the age of five. I grew up in Jerusalem, graduated Rene Cassin High School and joined the IDF, where I served for five years in the Nachal Paratroopers Brigade. I reached the rank of Major, and my last position was Company Commander
Academically, I graduated from the Hebrew University with a B.A. in Archeology, and from Haifa University with an M.A. in Geography.

I have worked for the Israeli National Parks Authority as a Ranger in charge of the Judean Desert region, and later as a town planner for the Misgav Regional Planning and Building Committee. In 1995 my wife Shiri and I decided to build our home in the beautiful community of Koranit, in the Misgav region of the central Galilee. I completed the Israeli Ministry of Tourism tour guide course, and have been guiding groups and families ever since then.

In 2005, I was sent by the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), to serve as the Israeli emissary (Community Shaliach) at the UJA Federation of Northern New Jersey. I led the Israel Programs Center for three years, developing Israel-based programs including Ulpan (Hebrew language school), film festivals, history and political lecture series, and arts programs
My wife Shiri and I have three wonderful children: Itai, Shaked and Tomer.
